Pensioner Wins £10,000 Playing Bingo

It has been revealed that a online bingo winner lost her head when all around her were keeping theirs.

The Jackpot worth a massive £10,000 was won by a pensioner from West Denton at her local bingo club.

She plays at the bingo hall twice a week along with a friend who is to take an equal share in the prize.

She said: “Everybody at the club started clapping when it was announced and the staff were so lovely, but I just went to pieces.”

“It’s all such a lovely surprise,” she added, announcing plans to go on a trip with her friend.

While she was not sure where they would be going, she suggested Jersey as a likely destination.
